Description | D264702, PIN 950124, FA Proj , Broome Co., Pavement Resurfacing With Guide Rail and Sign Replacement, I-81 from Exit 7 to Cortland County line, Towns of Baker, Lisle and Triangle., Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $1,500,000.00) This project mills and resurfaces Interstate 81 from exit 7 at Castle Creek to the Cortland County Line, in the towns of Barker, Triangle, and Lisle, Broome County. This Project Is Located in the Southern Tier Region and Includes the Following: Counties Broome Villages Whitney Point Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond. Contract administration or procurement questions may be submitted either electronically or directed to Robert Kitchen, or the Assistant Director/Director of the Office of Contract Management, (518) 457-2124. Federally Aided Contracts identify a DBE Goal, and 100% NY State Funded Contracts identify both MBE and WBE Goals. Contracts with 0% Goals are generally single operation contracts, where sub-contracting is not expected, and smaller size contracts -- both of which may present direct bidding opportunities for Small Business Firms, including, but not limited to, DBE or MBE and WBE. NYDOT - Pavement Resurfacing With Guide Rail and Sign Replacement MBE : 1.1% WBE : 6.9% DBE : 8% Construction Complete September 2022 Consultation Code: 05E1NY00-2021-SLI-2544 Event Code: 05E1NY00-2021-E-08007 The project proposes to mill and resurface the asphalt pavement and shoulders with warm-mix asphalt (WMA) in Towns of Barker, Lisle, and Triangle in Broome County. Four ramps at Exit 8 are also included within resurfacing limits. Work also include replacing damaged or non-compliant sections of guide-railing, replacing damaged signs, and re-establishing MIARDs and epoxy markings. Letting is due in February 2022. |
