SR 529/NB Snohomish River - Bridge Rehabilitation

Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Everett, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel. STIP ID WDNW-1137 Rehabilitate all bridge 529/10E elements that are in condition state 3 and/or 4. The bridge elements needing rehabilitation include concrete girders, steel truss elements, concrete substructure elements, bearing , sidewalks, curbs, bridge rails, seismic restrainers, and moveable bridge steel tower elements. The project will also paint the movable steel span B. Additional work may be identified and evaluate during design phase. As of July 04, 2022, this project is in final planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the second quarter of 2019. The contract advertisement is expected in third quarter of 2022 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the third quarter of 2024.
