Interior Renovation and Remodel of the Racine Public Library A. The project consists of the renovation of the second level of the existing library with appx. Project area of 31,000 SF, a new interior stairway, and a new entrance on level 2 along the existing west elevation of the building, for the Racine Public Library Board of Trustees, hereafter called the Owner, and is to be constructed in accordance with the Contact Documents prepared by Product Architecture and Design, dated January 24, 2022. B. Scope: The Work includes the work of all trades required; and all the labor, materials, and equipment necessary and incidental to the construction and completion of the Work. C. Work to be executed under one General Contract, including all trades. D. Once the construction of the new library building is complete, demolition of the existing library building will follow and be replaced with parking and green space improvements.
