Rehabilitate Cedar Pass Cottage

Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Set-Aside: The project will consist of demolishing all aspects except the wood stud wall framing and interior knotty pine paneling and trim which is to be salvaged and reinstalled. Demolition includes: the partial basement, roof framing, interior walls, utilities, exterior stucco, exterior doors and windows, and various features of the site. New construction shall replicate features of the Cottage considered to be culturally significant such as: overall exterior appearance, exterior soffit including exposed roof rafters and stucco finish. Other aspects of the design reflect the period of significance, which was the 1950s architectural character of the building. Consistent with this are the new windows with horizontal muntin’s, exterior doors with small, staggered windows, roof shingles, and historic exterior paint colors. New accessible parking and route to the front entrance will be provided
