Description

The work in general is to entail installing a new precast concrete building with water booster pumps, a new glasslined, bolted steel ground storage tank, and a hydro-pneumatic tank, piping, valves, and appurtenances and demolition of the existing facility primarily located in the area of the King Kennedy Estates neighborhood. The Contractor shall accomplish all Work, including such additional, extra and incidental Work that may be considered necessary by the Owner to complete the Project, as defined herein, in a satisfactory and acceptable manner, and shall furnish all plant equipment, tools, materials, labor and incidentals necessary to carry on the Project to satisfactory completion within the time period specified and in strict accordance with the Drawings, Specifications/Contract Documents and Addenda, referenced herein and incorporated by reference, (the Contract Documents) and the latest revision of the St. Marys County Metropolitan Commission Design Manual, Technical Specifications, and Standards for Construction Details. Bid Packages will include the following: 1. One (1) Bid Document (including General Intent, General Terms & Conditions, Bid Form, etc.); 2. One (1) set of drawings which encompasses the entire project. Bid packages are available for distribution on the Maryland Department of General Services website located at Inquiries concerning Contract Documents should be directed to Tanya Parker, Procurement Agent at 301-737-7400, Extension 210 or purchasing@metcom.org. The St. Marys County Metropolitan Commission is currently soliciting for bids on King Kennedy Water System Replacement Ground Storage Tank Water Booster Station Project.
