Description | The proposed system shall consist of a “Video Wall” including at a minimum a control system, as well as integration to existing video display monitors. In addition to the video component control, the system shall be capable of two Way video conferencing and provide for amplification of audio from the various sources including microphones in the EOC. 1. Primary video wall shall be installed in an area in front of the center that measures 13 feet wide by 5 feet high. The monitors shall utilize the maximum area possible in this space. 2. The system shall allow for individual or grouped video by each monitor from the wireless control 4 panel. 3. All video and audio shall be supplied by HDMI connections at a minimum to provide for high quality video signal. 4. The system shall account for a minimum of two additional input and output ports for all system audio and video functions at time of acceptance without any additional future costs to enable. 5. Video monitors and system components supplied by vendor shall provide for and supply the connectivity to all devices of 4K video signal at a minimum. 6. Vendor will specify the type of mounts to be used and method of securing the monitors to the wall. 7. The three existing video monitors in the EOC shall be interfaced into the system and shall allow for full control as the video wall monitors. 8. The one video monitor in the EOC Communications room, the two existing video monitors as well as the overhead projector located in the adjacent training room shall be interfaced in the same manner to the system. 9. There shall be two video conferencing pan zoom tilt cameras installed in the EOC interfaced into and controlled by the system. 10. The system shall allow for interconnectivity to our existing stage mounted computer and a connection for a supplied laptop, for input as well as the hub for the video conferencing feature for video and audio HDMI. 11. There shall be supplied two wireless USB / HDMI devices to be connected to the system to allow for screen share of various devices brought into the EOC. 12. The City shall supply 2 HDMI Comcast and or FIOS connections to interface to the system to allow broadcast to any or all monitors. 13. All connections shall be routed to a vendors supplied City approved rack and located in a location approved by the City. 14. Vendor will supply a stereo amplifier interfaced into the system as well as the podium microphone to provide sound to the four vendor supplied celling mounted speakers. 15. System will be optimized to reduce any potential for feedback in audio. 16. Celling mounted noise canceling high quality directional microphones shall be installed for the video conferencing component in the EOC and the training room. 17. Vendor will supply and interface one wireless microphone and 2 channel minimum receiver into the system to allow for unrestricted movability within the EOC. 18. The video conferencing system shall allow for connectivity to a City supplied analog and or digital telephone line for interfacing with two way telephone only connections. 19. The system shall include a rack mounted control panel as well as a wireless controllability. This control could be accomplished by a notebook type device controlling software. 20. Each of these controls should allow for control of all aspects of the system. 21. The vendor will provide at a minimum one training session for use of the system including the basic user level as well as advance user, system configuration and manipulation. The duration shall be as long in duration as required to provide a comprehensive understanding of the system to ensure our users can operate properly. 22. System shall come with a complete system warrantee and support for a duration of not less than one year after final acceptance of the system by the City. 23. The vendor shall list costs for additional years of coverage for hardware and software separately. 24. The Vendor will identify how they will approach the implementation of this video system 25.
