Oswego Animal Shelter Addition

General Construction Electrical General Construction-This work shall include providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the City of Oswego Animal Shelter Renovation. Mechanical Construction: The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing ductwork, gas fired furnace, air cooled condensing unit, and infrared gas heating units. New gas fired roof units, air cooled condensing units, unit ventilators, unit gas fired heaters, roof top exhaust units, ductwork supply and return distribution systems and HVAC control systems. Plumbing Construction: The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, plumbing demolition, new floor drains, service and mop sinks/fixtures and associated domestic hot and cold water piping and insulation, sanitary sewer and vent connections to existing mains, installation of two Owner-furnished hot water heaters and other related items. Electrical Construction: The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, electrical demolition of existing spaces including lighting, outlets, and miscellaneous circuits. Installation of new service, service meter, panelboard, lighting, outlets, and circuiting. Additive Bid Items: Contract No. 1A – General Construction Additive Bid Item No. 1: The work shall include providing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete removal and replacement of the asphalt paved parking lot system including parking lot striping, lettering, signage, concrete parking stops/bumpers. Additive Bid Item No. 2: The work shall include providing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete installation of a permanent 10 x 12 shed with power to store freezer during construction and to provide future storage after construction completion. Additive Bid Item No. 3: The work shall include providing all labor, materials and equipment required for the complete installation of a temporary 10 x 8 A-Verdi (or equal) storage container for use by the Owner during construction. The temporary storage container shall be removed/returned by the Contractor at the completion of construction.
