Raceway Valve Replacement - Albert Powell Fish Hatchery

This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to replace raceway cleanout valves at Albert Powell Trout Hatchery. The project is located at 20901 Fish Hatchery Road, Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland. All Minority Business Enterprise are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. This is for SBR Vendors only. The following bonds are required if the Contract Amount, including Unit Prices, Allowances and Alternates as applicable, is in excess of $100,000.00 1) Bid Bond in the amount of 5% 2) Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $250.00 per calendar day as specified in the General Conditions. QUESTIONS DEADLINE: The deadline for questions has been established as 3/16/23 at 2:00 pm, to assure that there is enough time to allow the A/E to provide responses and Addendum issuance if necessary. The Project Cost Classification for this solicitation is: Small Procurement Category III, under $100,000 Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this Solicitation Bid prices are irrevocable for a period of 120 days following bid opening. After opening bids, the Procurement Officer may request bidders to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids, provided that, with regard to bids, no other change is permitted.
