Air Handler Replacement - Dragun Building

To remove existing air handler and motor control center, and furnish and install new air handler and motor control center for the Dragun Science Building located on the Arnold Campus. 1. Replace existing air handler and return fan. 2. Obtain all necessary permits (building, electrical, etc.) to complete the project. 3. Perform asbestos abatement of all asbestos containing materials within the work area. 4. Furnish and install all ductwork, piping, valves, dampers, etc. 5. Integrate new controls into the existing control system. 6. Modify existing sprinkler system as required to maintain proper sprinkler coverage. 7. Modify existing fire alarm system to accommodate new alarm devices associated with the air handling unit. 8. Provide new lighting to the mechanical room. 9. Demolish existing motor control center and associated panelboard and replace with a new motor control center
