Description

The scope of the project involves the construction of the Bayou Meto WMA Shop Building. GENERAL The purpose of this Contract is to [Project Description] in exact accordance with the Plans and Specifications on file in the office of the AGFC OR BUISNESS TITLE at BUSINESS ADDRESS, CITY, Arkansas, ZIP CODE, and to the entire satisfaction of the COMMISSION. A copy of the Specifications also is attached hereto as Exhibit B. All of CONTRACTOR's work shall be subject to monitoring and inspection by the COMMISSION. Misc. Unless otherwise specified, all work shall comply with Americans with Disabilities Act and the Standard Specifications for Highway Construction Arkansas Department of Transportation 2014 edition. Safety: The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment to protect the public during the construction. Erosion The contractor shall be responsible for the control of sediment and erosion Control during construction. Specifications AGFC will furnish the building and insulation. o Contractor shall complete the Contract Grant Disclosure & Certification form and include with bid documents. o Contractor shall maintain for I-9 for all employees. o All excavation and fills shall be compacted to95% modified proctor, imported fill material shall be approved prior to placement and compacted to 95% modified proctor. o All finished or disturbed slopes shall be covered with 6" compacted Class 7 base or equivalent. o Testing - Contractor shall employ an Arkansas Registered Professional Engineer to perform testing on the earthwork and concrete. The concrete testing shall comply with the American Concrete Institute ACI 318-95. The minimum number of density tests shall be one test for every 2,500 square feet for the building pad and one test every 10,000 square feet outside the building area. Test results shall be submitted to AGFC for their review. o All concrete shall be 3,500 psig o All reinforcement rod Grade 60 o Wash pad shall be sloped 1" to 10' minimum to 2' to 10' maximum. o Provide pre-treatment for termites and furnish certificate to owner for records. o Storage flooring Kure Seal urethane sealer with 30% acrylic solids or equivalent. o Exterior Shop Access Door - Insulated commercial steel doors with heavy duty stainless steel hardware to include dead bolt locks keyed alike and chain catches. o Garage Doors - 14' x 18' 25 ga. steel sectional vinyl back insulated Chain Link Fence Details o Contractor shall remove current south fence, reuse if possible and replace if necessary. o 72" 9 Ga. Galvanized fence fabric (2" mesh) o 1 5/8" OD full weight 2.27 lbs. per ft. top rail joined with 0 5/8" sleeve. o 2 3/8" OD full weight pipe 5.79 lbs. per ft. line posts set on 10 ft. center maximum spacing with a 10" diameter X 36:" deep concrete footing o 2 7/8" OD full weight pipe 5.79 lbs. per ft. terminal post set in 12" diameter X 42" deep concrete footing. o Terminal posts braced to the nearest line post with 1 5/8" OD full weight pipe. o 4" OD full weight pipe 9.10 lbs. per ft. gate post set in 12" diameter X 42" deep concrete footing. o FITTINGS - Regular brace band & carriage bolt, pressed steel rail end, pressed steel eye top, pressed steel cap, 3/16" X 3/4" tension bar, regular tension band & carriage bolt. o TIE WIRE - 8 1/4" 9 ga. aluminum tie wire & 6 1/2" 9 ga. aluminum tie wire spaced 15" on center for line posts and 24" on center for rails. o Barbed Wire Extension arms shall carry 3 strands of Red Brand 15.5 ga. 4 point barbed wire at an angle of 45 degrees.
