Description

As of December 1, 2022, the project has been awarded. Construction is expected to start early 2023, however, a firm timeline for construction has not been established. Although all trades have been let, the general contractor may still be accepting pricing for various materials. Mokapu Elementary School - Campus Improvements Phase 1: Work involves demolition and removal work, site preparation, drainage system, chain link fencing and gates, concrete sidewalk and curbs, asphaltic concrete paving, pavement markings, underground sprinkler system, lawns and grasses, water and sewer systems, masonry, structural steel work, carpentry, roofing, plumbing and electrical work, fire alarm system, elevator installation, air conditioning and ventilation, painting, disturbance of hazardous materials and other related work to construct the new Administration and Classroom buildings. Phase 2: After the Phase 1 buildings are completed and occupied the demolition and removal of the existing classroom buildings will commence to clear the way for the Covered Playcourt and Cafeteria building. The existing cafeteria building will remain operational until the new cafeteria building is up and running. The estimated construction cost is greater than $10,000,000 Vendors having questions regarding the project must submit them in writing to the Project Coordinator. Questions must be received no later than 14 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Addenda and/or bid clarifications (if required) will be issued no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
