Description

**As of August 16, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** Project No.: 3201049 Bids must be on the official Bid Form which can be obtained from the Engineer, at the offices of ARH Associates, Inc., 215 Bellevue Avenue, Hammonton, NJ 08037 and accompanied by a Consent of Surety, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, other documents required pursuant to the specifications, and a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the amount bid but not in excess of $20,000.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Each Bid must state the name and address of person, firm and corporation interested in the same as a principal. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, addressed to the Township Clerk, Township of Pemberton, 500 Pemberton-Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068 and identified as "Bid (#PT-01-2022) West End Park Improvement Project" Due to COVID-19 masks are required when entering the Township Municipal Building. Please also adhere to social distancing requirements when in the Municipal Building. Bids may be submitted via US Mail or some type of shipping service (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.). Bid can also be hand delivered to the Township Clerk. The Municipal Building is open, however there is a drop box outside the Township building. Should a bidder decide to use the drop box the bidder must contact the Township Clerk to let her know they submitted the bid via drop box. Specifications provide for receipt of Bids by mail. Those Bids which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed, properly marked and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all Bids received are unsealed and announced. The Mayor, Township Council and its Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as Owner) will be the sole discretionary body for consideration or rejection of the Bids. PRE-BID MEETING: None. 5. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or any authorized postponement thereof. Bids received after time and date designated shall not be considered. The provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3 shall be adhered to on this project. 6. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REGULATIONS: Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 (NJAC 17:27). 7. CONTRACT COMPLETION: Construction shall commence at the project site within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date to be specified in the written 'Notice to Proceed' by the Engineer and shall be completed within two hundred forty (240) calendar days from the date the written 'Notice to Proceed' is given, unless otherwise agreed to. 8. PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS: The provisions of the Department of Labor current wage rate determinations and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act are requirements of this project. 9. PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION ACT: The provisions of the New Jersey Public Works Contractor Registration Act are requirements of this project. 10. BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE: The provisions of the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements shall be adhered to on this project. 11. PROJECT FUNDING: Please be advised that State funds through the Green Acres Program are being utilized in this project. Under N.J.A.C. 7:1-5, vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded from participation on this project.
