| Description | The types of materials to be installed include but are not limited to: Cabling: Cables are industry-standard fiber optic cables, UTP copper cables, and coaxial cables. Cables (horizontal and riser) are those typical of intra-building infrastructure construction. Cross-Connect Hardware: Hardware consists of industry-standard termination blocks, panels, faceplates, patch cords, etc. Support Hardware: Hardware includes industry standard equipment racks, cable managers, ladder racks, backboards, etc. Also included is typical structured wiring support hardware (plywood, wall and trapeze brackets, grounding equipment, etc.). Active Equipment: A variety of communications equipment shall be installed, connected, and cut over for end-users. These include: data network switches, wireless access points, telephone handsets, UPS’s, etc. |
