Signal Improvements Multi-Term

Intersection Rewire Spec’s:. Changing out the wire from the Luminaire tthe meter. Changing out the wire from the opticom tthe cabinet. Changing out the wire from the signal head tthe cabinet. Changing out the wire from the PED head tthe cabinet. Changing out the wire from the PED button tthe cabinet. Changing out the 21 conductor with 25 conductor from the intersection tthe cabinet. Changing out the old home run pull box with new pull box (provide by the City of Brighton). Changing out the power wire from meter or transformer tthe cabinet. Changing out the old cabinet and base with new cabinet and base. Additional work that may occur (by hourly, personnel and equipment):. Installing additional signal head. Installing otpicom. Installing cameras. Installing radios. Installing electrical pedestal. Installing luminaires. Installing illuminated street name sign. Intersection Spec’s: Any additional wire needed for any of the intersection will be provided by the City of Brighton All intersections must have a permit pulled by the contractor for each intersection, and must have a Traffic Control Plan. All intersections when in a dark state must have a UTC on site and directing traffic. All wire splices must be in the hand hole, at least 18in of a pig tail and with Buchanan splice cap crimp with cover and cabinet must be clean organized and done the City of Brighton standards. Splicing spec will be CDOT standard Intersection must be inspected and signed off by the Traffic Signal Supervisor.
