| Description | Remove and dispose of asbestos-containing material at Porter Hall, a 9-story building at Buffalo State College. Abatement of asbestos containing materials includes floor tile and mastic in dorm rooms and corridors of floors two thru nine; with select areas of abatement to occur on the basement and first floors. Non-abatement removals include select areas of carpeting, corridor ceilings on floors two thru nine and select suspended ceilings on the basement and first floors. New flooring will be installed where previously abated and walls and ceilings will be painted throughout. Corridors of floors two thru nine will receive new light fixtures and acoustical treatments. New suspended ceilings and light fixtures will be installed where previously removed on the basement and first floors. The project is to be phased with work performed during the summer of 2019 and the summer of 2020. | ||
