Description

Please see below for clarifications from some RFI's as well as some details from bid walks yesterday. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sheet I-210 shows TLT 022, but this room is not listed on the Room Finish Schedule. On the room finish schedule, TLT 022 is listed as TLT 029B. Sheet I-211 calls our CPT-1 inset in ELEV LOBBY 1004, but the Room Finish Schedule calls out CPT-2. The carpet inset in ELEV LOBBY 1004 should be CPT-1 as shown on I-211. The brick towards the North East area of GAME/PUZZLE ROOM 2004 should be painted the same as all other brick. All wallpaper borders should be removed when walls are called out to be painted. An alternate will be added to the bid form for for all work in TRAINING ROOM 004. This includes all work in TLT 001, TLT 002, and OFFICE 003 as well. An alternate will be added to the bid form for the painting of doors and frames. All door and frame painting should be included in this alternate with appropriate methods for paint adhesion. *Please see below for plumbing RFI's that have been received along with responses. Fixture tags do no exist on the drawings. Considering the RFI's that follow, tags placed on the drawings as well as additional details and selections on the schedule would be beneficial for clarity with trades. Fixture call outs can be found in the Room Finish Schedule under the MISC column. Three different general water closet types exist on site (floor set and tank, floor set w/ flush valve, and wall hung and tank) that for it to be a simple fixture swap would need to match what exists in each restroom. Will there be (3) different toilet types or will be revise existing plumbing to suit one type. You should replace toilets like for like. Since a spec isn't provided for anything but the floor set and tank type, you should specify your own for the other two types. SK-1 is described as an undermount sink. No undermount sinks exist on site. Assuming that these will go in all restrooms where a wall hung sink does not exist but clarification of where these fixtures are intended would ensure client satisfaction. Is this a correct assumption. Sink types can be found on the Room Finish Schedule under the MISC column for the spaces that will require a sink replacement. SK-2 is described as a wall hung sink. Only 1 was seen on site on floor A2. No other SK-2 will be planned unless otherwise noted. Similar to item #3, sink types can be found on the Room Finish Schedule under the MISC column for the spaces that will require a sink replacement. Will all of the casework in the restrooms match. Typical lavatory casework is not drawn as ADA which for public spaces is surprising. Different parts are required whether plumbing is in ADA or non-ADA casework, or exposed (as in the wall-hung example). Please advise. Sink cabinets should match existing in size and be built per detail 16 on sheet I-511. No faucet type is described for SK-3. FA-1 is not suitable in a kitchen application. Faucet may impact compatible basin model. Please advise. For SK-3, please specify a compatible American Standard faucet in stainless finish.
