Winneshiek Medical Center Expansion and Renovation

Furnish all labor, material and equipment required to accomplish the construction described in the specifications, indicated on the plans, and per the schedule. The Work includes two new additions for the primary and specialty clinics and a surgery addition. Renovations will include the primary/specialty clinic, Labor and Delivery, and Surgery departments, along with site improvements on the Hospital's campus at 901 Montgomery St., Decorah, Iowa. Bidders/Packages: BP#A Masonry BP#B General Trades BP#C Roofing, Sheet Metal Flashing & Trim BP#D Curtain Wall, Glazing BP#E Elevators BP#F Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC BP#G Electrical BP#H Sitwork & Utilities The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities at its sole discretion, and enter into a contract in the best interest of the governmental entity. All bids must be accompanied by bid security payable to the Hospital in an amount equal to at least 5% of the highest total amount including Add Alternates. The bid security may be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or a bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in the State of Iowa. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The Bond must be issued by a responsible surety approved by the Board of Trustees of the Hospital. The Notice to Proceed will be issued following acceptance of the executed Contract by the successful Bidder and the requisite Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and insurance certificates, and a determination by the Hospital to proceed. All work for this package shall be completed within the given schedule set forth in the bidding documents.
