Perry (Ralph and Martha) Memorial Conservation Area Range Complex Renovation, Recycling, and Soil Stabilization

Renovation of the Highway 23 Range to an undeveloped wildlife conservation area. This includes all labor, materials, equipment and dewatering to: conduct the demolition activities including removal of backstops, concrete shooting pads, miscellaneous debris, and a gravel foot path from the Highway 23 Range; Highway 23 Range Bullet/Fragment/Casing recovery and recycling; Highway 23 Range soil stabilization/treatment; soils at the Highway 23 Shooting Range requiring stabilization/treatment will be Processed for Bullet/Fragment/Casing recovery and recycling, then relocated for continued use as backstop or side berm material at the New Range; Soils requiring Processing for Bullet/Fragment/Casing recovery and recycling, but not requiring stabilization/treatment will be redistributed as final grading material at the Highway 23 Shooting Range; Demolished shooting pads and miscellaneous debris will be disposed of offsite: Gravel from the foot path will be redistributed as clean fill over existing Highway 23 Range gravel parking areas; Seeding and mulching of all disturbed areas; and Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. West tract: from Concordia, take Highway 23 south 5 miles. East tract north of Blackwater River: from Concordia, take Highway 23 south approximately 4 miles, then east on NE 1200, area begins where NE 1200 turns north. East tracts south of Blackwater River: from Sweet Springs, take Highway 127 south, then Route NN west, and north on Blackwater Road, or west on Dunksburg Road. See map for additional access.
