Description | HVAC Renovations to Town of McCandless Town Hall Project Project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing HVAC systems throughout the majority of the building. The existing hot water boiler plant will be removed. New systems consist of dedicated outside air systems and variable refrigerant flow systems to serve the project area. Additionally, the existing electrical switchboard and panels will be removed and replaced. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, on the Bid Bond included at the end of this Section, or a certified check or cashier's check, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal and any alternates, The Contractor shall furnish a One Year Maintenance Bond, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Bonds must be placed with a Surety Company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Contractor, within ten (10) days after the date the Contractor is notified of the Contract award, will be required to furnish a faithful Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum and a Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum All Contractors and Subcontractors must properly complete weekly payroll certification forms and file them as required per PA Prevailing Wage Law Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The Owner shall have the right to waive informalities and irregularities in a Bid Proposal received and to accept the Bid which, in the Owner's judgment, is in the Owner's own best interest. |
