Biosolids Digester Facilities

This work will be performed at the Southeast Treatment Plant. This is an operating wastewater plant with extensive above- and below-grade infrastructure that must remain in continuous operation at all times. 1. T-03.02 Structural Concrete and Steel Package 2 - B600 and Trench H. Furnish and install the structural reinforced concrete and steel structure for Facility 600 and Trench H. Facility 600 is a 5-storey structure including basement with deep sump pit, elevator column and concrete stairwells (approx. 100,000 sq ft). A notable portion of the structural steel is encased in reinforced concrete. This scope of work also includes metal decking. Trench H is a below-grade concrete tunnel (approx. 600 sq ft) that connects Facility 600 to existing Facility 960 Gallery. All piled foundations, excavation, shoring, and dewatering is performed by others for these structures. Miscellaneous Metals Supply and Installation will be let out to bid under Trade Package T-05.02. 2. T-05.02 Miscellaneous Metals Supply and Installation Package 2 -B600. Furnish and install all miscellaneous metal, metal stairs, railings, davits, and hoisting equipment; monorail hoists, gantry cranes, davit cranes, bridge hoist for Facility 600 and Trench H. Facility 600 is a structural concrete and steel building (approx. 100,000 sq ft). Trench H is a below-grade concrete tunnel (approx. 600 sq ft) that connects Facility 600 to existing Facility 960 Gallery. Embeds and anchor bolt templates will be furnished F.O.B. Jobsite for off-loading by others. 3. T-07.05 Below Grade Waterproofing B600,604,605,606,607 Furnish and install all below grade waterproofing membranes, vapor retarders, air barriers, drainboard, and any other items necessary for a complete waterproofing system for Buildings 600, 604, 605, 606 and 607. • Building 600 is a pile supported approximate 185’ by 184’ structure with 14.50’ deep basement on a pile cap and grade beam slab of varying thickness, with deep sump pit and elevator pit. Waterproofing will be installed on a rat slab provided by others. • Building 604 is a pile supported mat slab on grade approximate 51’ x 87’ structure. • Building 605 is a pile supported mat slab on grade approximate 44’ x 144’ structure built over Pipe Gallery 661. • Building 606 is a pile and beam supported mat slab on grade approximate 82’ x 137’ structure. • Building 607 is a pile supported mat slab on grade approximate 66’ x 115’ structure.
