Port Acres Subdivision Drainage Improvement

The City of Port Arthur reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. If the Contract exceeds Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), a Payment Bond shall be furnished, and if the contract exceeds One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) a performance bond also, shall be furnished on prescribed forms in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bonds must file with each Bond a certified and effective date copy of their Power of Attorney.
