Description

**As of October 19, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** DESCRIPTION OF WORK: o Install and remove approximately 520 linear feet of six feet tall temporary steel chain-link fencing. o Demolish building and shed including cutting and capping of utilities and removal and disposal of hazardous waste, universal waste, and all structure contents. o Strip gravel from northeast gravel driveway (outside of road ROW), stockpile onsite, and replace (during site restoration). o Demolish, remove, transport, and dispose of approximately 175 tons of concrete exterior slabs and interior building slabs, foundation / basement walls (including concrete masonry units), and foundations. o Excavate, characterize, remove, transport, and dispose of approximately 2,400 tons of contaminated soil. o Manage, characterize, transport, and dispose of approximately 100,000 gallons of non-hazardous, impacted groundwater. o Place and compact approximately 2,700 tons of MDOT Class II sand fill. o Place approximately 7,500 square feet of topsoil four inches thick, seeded and mulched.
