Description | Base Item 0001: Design-Build Price – Construct STA/ANT Facility - The project constructs a new STA/ANT Facility adjacent to the existing Station Bldg. #101 and relocates existing utilities and services within the new facility footprint. The STA/ANT Facility will include two new 11,000 gallons fuel storage tanks. The Station/ANT Building includes administrative and conference space, command and operations center, berthing, and marine maintenance shops, and one boat bay to support one trailerable boat. The first floor of the building shall be designed as a “washout” level to accommodate future hurricane and 100-year flood water level. Base Item 0002: Design-Build Price – Construct Sector Engineering Facility - The project constructs a new Sector Engineering Facility in the parking lot on Pier D2 to the east of Building #105. Project also constructs a new Hazardous Storage space that will be part of the Sector Engineering Facility. Currently, it is a standalone Quonset hut building on Pier D2. The Sector Engineering Building includes administrative and conference space, maintenance shops, and two boat maintenance bays to accommodate one trailerable and one nontrailerable boat. The first floor of the building shall be designed as a “washout” level to accommodate future hurricane and 100-year flood water level. Base Item 0003: Design-Build Price – Electrical Distribution Upgrade - The project consists of an Electrical Distribution Upgrade includes upgrades to the existing electrical infrastructure to accommodate backup and uninterrupted electrical power for USCG operations for resiliency during natural disasters. The electrical infrastructure upgrades include replacing all existing site primary underground medium voltage feeders with new wiring and conduits in new concrete encased duct banks, rerouting overhead feeders underground in concrete encased conduits, replacing of all primary distribution equipment, pole-mounted light fixtures, and wood light poles. Elevations of electrical distribution equipment shall be raised, as required, to accommodate minimum of 3 feet above the 100-year flood elevation. Base Item 0004: Ground Water Remediation Mobilization / Demobilization Lump Sum – The mobilization item includes freight, setup, initial purchase of filtration media, teardown, and demobilization. Base Item 0005: Monthly Unit Pricing Ground Water Remediation – The project will require extensive excavation and will require ground water remediation since depth will be below the existing water table. Monthly costs include rental of filtration equipment testing and sampling of water and vacuum truck operation. |
