Engineering - Engineering Services for Holiday Drive 12 Sub - Aqueous Water Main Crossing and 6 Fire Hydrant Line Replacement

To provide engineering services (A/E), including but not limited to, design development, preparation of construction documents, and permitting services. The City of Hallandale Beach is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant, to provide engineering services for Holiday Drive 12" Sub-aqueous Water Main Crossing and 6"Fire Hydrant Line Replacement. The section of 12" WM from Layne Blvd to the marina at Golden View Condominium is of made cast iron and was installed in 1969. Due to its age, the pipe has suffered several failures in recent years. The City has optioned to replace and upgrade to 16" WM, both the land and the subaqueous section of the segment, which runs from the valve located at the western end of Holiday Drive to a valve located in the parking area of the Golden View Condominiums adjacent to its marina. This pipe crosses the intercoastal waterway north of William Lehman Causeway and south of Hallandale Beach Blvd. The City would like to cap and abandon in place the existing subaqueous portion of the WM. The City would also like to replace and upgrade the existing 6" fire hydrant line along Holiday Drive to an 8" line.
