| Description | Work consists of all work required to provide and install a pre-fabricated, operation-ready, electrical equipment enclosure, designated as substation NS3, to be used for the replacement of existing substations G-6, G-7, and G-8 at the Walt Whitman Bridge. The location of the new substation will be in Gloucester City, NJ on DRPA property under the WWB. The work shall include the installation of new medium-voltage conductors, replacing original portions of feeders 3 and 4, splicing to existing 5 KV conductors, to feed the new NS3 substation and existing substation G-10, which will remain in service. The Work shall include the installation of new 480/277 VAC and 120/240 VAC feeders to serve loads on and around the WWB, splicing the new feeders to existing feeders in the vicinities of existing substations G-6, G-7, and G-8, which are being replaced under this project. (Substation G-9 no longer serves any loads.) | ||
