Description | Addition of new CO detectors, relays for shutdown of gas burning appliances, power supplies, blue strobe notification device and fire alarm system devices in the North Cache Middle School. The existing fire alarm control panel will be upgraded to a new Notifier 3030 panel and will network via fiber with a new fire alarm control panel in the Woodshop building as well as the Classroom addition building and with the existing fire alarm control panel in the Vocational building. A new single mode fiber circuit is required to be ran to connect all the building fire alarm control panels together. The existing annunciators, field initiating devices and power supplies in the main building, classroom building and woodshop building are to be replaced. The existing fire alarm notification devices will remain and will communicate with the new fire alarm control panels. The CO detectors to be added will have a local sounder alarm for the space where CO is detected and the blue strobe in the office area will activate to notify personnel that CO has been detected. New 24v power circuits are to be ran in conduit from the added power supplies to each new CO detector base. New SLC (initiating) circuits are to be ran in conduit to the new CO detectors, monitor modules and control modules. New notification circuits are to be ran in conduit for the new blue strobe in the main office area and for added fire alarm horn strobes. Fire alarm relays will be programmed for shutting down the respective AHU’s or furnaces when CO is detected. |
