Description

The building is a 5-story 160-unit apartment complex. Work includes, but is not limited to, remove and replace existing roofing and underlayment on flat roof (approximately 36,485SF). Provide flashing and terminations at parapets, walls, mechanical curbing and roof penetrations. Provide blown in or batt insulation at existing previously vented parapet conditions. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 1. REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING ROOFING AND UNDERLAYMENT. 2. PROVIDE NEW FLASHING AND TERMINATIONS AT PARAPETS, WALLS, MECHANICAL CURBING AND ROOF PENETRATIONS. 3. PROVIDE BLOWN IN OF BATT INSULATION AT (E) PREVIOUSLY VENTED PARAPET CONDITIONS. 4. PROVIDE COST FOR NEW ABOVE ROOF DECK RIGID INSULATION REPLACEMENT, THICKNESS TO MAINTAIN (E) R-20 VALUE Estimated Costs: $1million-1.5million The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. This project is a multi-family apartment complex with associated resident support spaces. It has been maintained as the same occupancy throughout its entirety and is a five-story building of Type I concrete and VA wood construction. Occupancy will be maintained throughout the course of construction. 2. This project consists of building renovations as follows: a.
