The Sale is located on the Talladega NF, Shoal Creek RD, approximately 3.5 miles South West of Heflin, AL. The sale includes 1817 gross acres, of which an estimated 410 acres are designated for cutting. The method of cut includes about 410 acres of thinning. Timber to be cut within the project area includes an estimated 12,496 TONS of Southern Yellow Pine sawtimber, 1,832 TONS of Hardwood sawtimber, 5,040 TONS of Softwood-Other pulpwood and 4,731 TONS of Hardwood-Other pulpwood. |
