Description

**As of April 26,2023, project was awarded to Kinsey Excavating and Trucking, LLC, awarded amount is $575,591.83** Removal of existing roadway, storm sewer improvements, new concrete curbs, sidewalks, and new asphalt roadway. The engineer will accept questions for this project until 02/28/2023 at 4:00 PM ET by submitting any questions in writing to mail@wequicksall .com or fax (330) 339-2227. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially complete by June 6, 2023. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Tuscarawas County and the City of New Philadelphia, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Bureau Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/or to award at any time during the period. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and responsible, responsive, bidder. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
