Design/Build for Central Plant Cooling Tower Refurbishment

This design/build contract will require the Contractor to submit a design proposal to the Government for review and approval. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, analysis, and design required to refurbish the existing cooling towers. Upon acceptance of the proposal, the Contractor shall proceed to the design phase. An analysis of the existing cooling tower structure, design of required repair, and execution of designed repair is required. This repair is to bring the cooling towers to a restored state of good working condition and structural soundness, to include the repair of exposed structural reinforcement, replacement of corroded support systems, and rectifying of cooling tower leaking liquid into the subgrade.
