Description | This contract provides for the construction of: Mill Pacific Hwy/South Tacoma Way between 108th ST SW and State Route 512 intersection (2-inch depth) and overlay with Hot Mix Asphalt. Work includes minor full dig out HMA repairs and minor signal modifications. Questions can be directed to Eric Swanstrom, P.E. at (253) 983-7751. Bidders shall be qualified for the type of work proposed. A Bidder's Construction Experience form is included in the Contract Provisions. All bids shall be submitted using the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this advertisement and in the Bid Documents, and said bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, postal money order, or a surety bond to the City of Lakewood in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Faxed bids and/or surety bonds will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked with the bid opening date and time, the project name and number as it appears in this advertisement and the name and address of the bidder. If City Hall is closed due to the Governor's "Stay at Home Order" bids can be submitted by calling the City Clerk at (253) 983-7705 and arranging the submittal ahead of the opening. The City of Lakewood in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), commits to nondiscrimination on the basis of disability, in all of its programs activities.
