Ready Mix Concrete Contract

This is a term contract with several contractors to provide and deliver ready-mix concrete to the City of Johnson City on an as-needed basis. Prices shall include all labor, materials and equipment to supply ready-mix concrete as specified. Usage is unknown and is dependent on projects scheduled. Annual usage is expected to be approximately $ 300,000. All City departments are included under this contract. This is a three (3) year contract subject to annual renewal provided all terms, conditions, and prices remain unchanged and the vendor is in agreement. Prices contained herein shall remain firm for each renewal term of the contract. The City reserves the right to re-bid at the end of any one (1) year period. The contractor is responsible for furnishing the proper licenses, fees, and permits, if any, required by law to do business in the City of Johnson City in completion of the requirements stated herein. All materials and services shall be supplied in accordance with the latest state and federal laws relative to providing ready-mix concrete. Contracts will be awarded to those firms that submit responsive bids and agree to the terms and conditions herein described. Frequency of service shall be dependent solely on City work schedules. Vendors will be contacted on a project-by-project basis with selection based on the lowest available contractor.
