Complete Streets Sidewalk Project East Main Street (Route 12)

The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, sidewalk improvements along approximately 1/5 - mile of East Main Street (Route 12), Slater Street, and Park Avenue in Webster, Massachusetts. Detailed work includes cement concrete sidewalk construction, sidewalk reconstruction, driveway reconstruction, drainage structure and pipe installation, crosswalk restriping, curb installation, lane markings, driveway construction, ADA/AAB-compliant pedestrian curb ramps, traffic signs and other incidental work. This project includes two bid add alternates. The work under Add Alternate Number 1 includes the sidewalk and pedestrian curb ramp improvements along the south side of East Main Street (Route 12) from Grandview Avenue to Hillside Avenue. Add Alternate Number 1 is approximately 275’ in length. The work under Add Alternate Number 2 includes the sidewalk and pedestrian curb ramp improvements along the south side of East Main Street (Route 12) from Hillside Avenue to Paradis Lane. Add Alternate Number 2 is approximately 300’ in length and includes minor drainage improvements.
