| Description | The City of Palm Desert (“City”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms (“Proposers”) for Planning and Design of North Sphere Regional Park (“Services”) to establish a Professional Services Agreement ("Agreement"). To serve and promote the welfare of its residents, the City intends to procure the Services, as described below. As part of the Millennium Specific Plan, a new regional sports park was identified on 27 acres at the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Dinah Shore Drive. The regional sports park is identified in the specific plan to include new recreational opportunities and activities, inclusive of sports lighting, for the residents of Palm Desert. The selected consultant will work with City staff and the Parks and Recreation Commission to conduct planning and stakeholder outreach to develop a design for the North Sphere Regional Park. |
