Description | **As of October 9, 2023 this project has been awarded but awarded amount not confirmed. A. The scope of work is to include but not be limited to the following: 1. Obtain all required electrical construction permits and inspections. 2. Coordinate with utility and owner as required to remove electrical service at portable classrooms. Provide $5,000 cash allowance for utility charges. 3. Provide a complete demolition of 208/120 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, distribution system for lighting and HVAC equipment. 4. Provide a complete demolition of 208/120 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, distribution system for convenience receptacles, small appliances and small motors. 5. Provide complete electrical demolition including all components, i.e. light fixtures, lamps, receptacles, conduit, wire, etc. 6. Submit documentation such as shop drawings, record documents, maintenance manuals, infrared scan results, systems test results, fire alarm system certification, etc. as specified. 7. Remove all fire alarm devices in portable classrooms. Retain the services of a factory representative for system redesign, reprogramming, and recertification. Demolition of 4 Portables at Chime Elementary School All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Kalamazoo Public Schools or the Superintendent of the School District. The district shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29, 2023 at 2:00p.m. local time at 6750 Chime St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. |
