Description

Contract No. 3 – General Construction: Installation of approximately 4,800 linear feet of 6-inch and approximately 8,600 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main associated with the well site off of Plains Road and throughout Plains Road neighborhood. Scope of work consists of excavation and trench preparation for the new water main, installation of new water main piping, including water valves, new water services, new water meters, corporation and curb stops, new service piping, new hydrant assemblies, and restoration of existing surfaces including asphalt pavement, gravel drives, and grass. Water main construction includes work zone traffic control and erosion and sediment control.
