Edgewood Park Trail Project

The work generally consists of constructing a 1,324-foot long asphalt walking trail in Edgewood Park in McComb, MS. Specific locations and improvements are shown in the Contract Drawings. The above general summary of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Contract time shall be 90 calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at a rate of $200.00 per day for each consecutive calendar day the work has not achieved Substantial Completion. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any and all bids. A 5% bid bond will be required on this project. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the bid. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Payment Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney.
