| Description | DCAMM Certification Required. The work consists of improvements to one rectangular primary clarifier (Primary Clarifier No. 1), two secondary clarifiers (Secondary Clarifiers No. 3 & 4), and improvements to the solids handling and dewatering system. Primary Clarifier No. 1 improvements includes demolition and replacement of clarifier mechanisms, chains, flights, drives and appurtenances, scum collection pipes, sludge cross-collectors, and appurtenances, concrete repair and painting of the existing clarifier tank bays, electrical improvements, and other associated improvements. Secondary Clarifier No. 3 & 4 improvements includes demolition and replacement of clarifier mechanisms, access bridges, baffles, weirs, and associated structural and electrical improvements. Solids handling improvements include installation of a new centrifuge dewatering system, liquid sludge pumping, polymer feed system, dewatering controls, and associated mechanical, structural, and electrical improvements. |
