Chiller Replacement (PID #004086A)

Work consists of the replacement of an existing 350-ton Air-Cooled Helical Rotary Water Chiller. The chiller is located airside of the terminal building and cools a vast majority of the building which employees, tenants and citizens occupy on a 24-hour basis. Demolition of the existing chiller, its removal from the site and the complete installation of the new chiller is a requirement of the scope of work. Related work generally involves demolition, modifications, removal, delivery, installation, site work, concrete work, metal fabrications, HVAC, paint, controls, pumps, mechanical, plumbing, electrical & lighting systems as per the attached specifications and drawings for this project and as required for a complete and operational system. An alternate bid requests additive pricing for a five (5) year extended warranty (beyond base contract warranty specified) for the chiller including associated pumps and electrical gear.The Warranty shall include all parts and labor. A temporary chiller shall be provided if the warranty repairs cannot be completed within a 72-hour time frame, from the date/time of notification by the Airport of the warranty repair or failure of the chiller. This warranty shall be transferrable to the Airport.
