Description

Plan to develop in two phases. The first phase being a three story, interior entry, elevator assisted building, second phase which is the single story cottage units. Each phase would have 48 units, for a total of 96 units As May 2023, the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit was awarded in late 2021. The project is on hold. Greenwood County Council has approved the rezone. Planning commission has yet to schedule a hearing. Information regarding homebuilder, architect or contractor has yet to be determined. Although a firm timeline has yet to be announced, construction could begin as early as late 2023.
