Lab Interior Renovation

Provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and management to install, inspect, and test fume and exhaust hoods, cooling unit and features as specified, at USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center: Lab 234 - - Provide and install a new Loren Cook 850 CFM exhaust fan like existing roof mounted lab exhaust fans to include new roof curb. Provide crane to set new exhaust fan on roof. - This new fan will be ducted with 8" stainless steel duct to new Owner-furnished and installed fume hood. - Relocate existing return grill and duct to allow new fume hood duct to be installed. - Provide and install new 12" x 8" split stainless-steel hood at counter height w/ 4" stainless steel exposed duct up through ceiling and tie into existing 6" round stainless - steel snorkel duct. Include 4" balancing damper above ceiling. The existing tubes (2) cannot be run through the same duct. - Fore-pumps exhaust requirements: initial inrush flow – 10 L/min (21.2 ft3/h) continuous flow 7L/min (14.8ft3/h). API exhaust system flow rate up to 45L/min (95 ft3/h) - Provide and install a new 2-ton LG AC only wall mounted indoor unit connected to outdoor unit located on existing steel platform near cooling tower. System to include insulated refrigerant lines and pumped condensate line. The system should control temperature with-in a + or – 1 degree of setpoint (72 degree). - Provide and install a new 72-inch Hamilton fume hood with VAV controls matching existing 48-inch fume hood in color and operations.
