Amphitheater Replacement Project at Community Park

Consist of the removal and disposal of the steel frame existing bandshell, construction of a new reinforced concrete retaining wall, and construction of a new timber frame amphitheater. The amphitheater shall be timber frame Douglas Fir, #1 & better, 48 feet wide at the front and 30 feet wide at the rear. The amphitheater shall be 22 feet tall at the front with 2x8 tongue and groove roof decking and a safety railing that meets the current building code. The amphitheater shall be as manufactured by The Barn Yard & Great Country Garages, 84 Stony Hill Road, Bethel, Connecticut, 06801 OR AN APPROVED EQUAL. Other items included in the project scope are the installation of a standing seam metal roof on the structure, stain finishing of the structure, installation of conduit for future electrical connections, installation of a pex water line, reinforced concrete pad beneath the structure, replacing concrete sidewalks and landscaping.
