Description

**As of September 9, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. This is scheduled to go to city council either the 4th Tuesday of September or 2nd Tuesday of October for recommendation.** Installation of one (1) new secondary clarifier tank, four (4) new secondary clarifier mechanisms, including electrical feed and control system, concrete rehabilitation of the three (3) existing secondary clarifier tanks, electrical work for new SCADA, addition of one (1) return activated sludge pump, variable frequency drive, piping, and valves, and add addition of a new canopy above the existing grit dumpster. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, the Architect/Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid. Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the City of Wixom in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal Guarantee shall provide assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary contract with the City. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds, and Insurance Certificates. The City of Wixom reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.
