Education 1 Building - 4th Floor Renovation for College of Nursing / PN 21-126061

The College of Nursing project includes renovation of portions of the fourth floor of the Education 1 Building into new formative learning lab spaces. The formative learning labs, also known as the Clinical Education Centers (CEC’s) serve as instructional and simulation areas for the nursing program. There will be two separate CEC’s, each having 5-6 beds (6 preferred), with side and end tables, and headwalls separated by privacy curtains and connected to compressed air and vacuum utilities. Each CEC requires two sinks, storage casework, lockers and/or cubbies, and a demonstration area with adjacent flat panel A/V screen. Each CEC will have its own testing room, with sliding glass doors, that contains a bed, side and end tables, and headwall. Testing rooms are included in a 5-6 total bed count for each CEC area.
