Description

Notice is hereby given that White County is now accepting sealed bids for a two inch asphalt hotmix overlay for resurfacing the following roads in White County, Arkansas Work shall be twenty feet wide with gates at driveways run out at one to two feet. A tact coat must be applied before resurfacing. Successful bidder must use a 28,000 lb. vibrating roller or equivalent to ensure proper compaction. Price shall include mobilization and must be quoted in a per ton price, include an estimated amount of materials to be used and a total project cost. Bidder shall include all leveling costs for each section. Phase 1. Clay Road - beginning at State Highway 305 running approximately 2.7 miles to existing overlay. Phase II. Shiloh Road - beginning at existing asphalt running northward approximately 1.3 miles to the intersection of Tweedy Road. White County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the proposal which best meets the needs of White County.
