Town Hall Roof Project

As of June 6, 2023, the project has been postponed because it needed additional design work prior to bid. No definite date for the rebid. Selected Vendor(s) will be responsible for the design, provision, and installation of roofing at the Colchester Town Hall, within the designated budget. The budget and desired equipment is detailed in the Request for Proposal Each Bid must be accompanied by a surety bond in the amount of 5% of the total of the Bid with the forms supplied by the Vender. A certified check will not be acceptable. In addition to the Agreement, a successful Bidder shall also provide, within the time stipulated, a Construction Performance Bond by a company satisfactory to the Vender in an amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of Estimated Total Contract Price recorded in the Proposal section of the Contract as executed, and a Construction Payment Bond in like amount will be required from the successful Bidder for faithful performance of the Contract. All requests for clarification or additional information must be submitted in writing via e- mail to the Town's Public Works Director, Joseph Leone at jleone@colchesterct.gov. Requests for clarification must be received no later than 5 days before the submission of bids.
