Rehabilitation of the Hardscrabble Road Bridge

Consists of rehabilitation of the hardscrabble Road Bridge over the Genesee Fork Pine Creek in West Pike, Potter County.This works includes the following: Placement of a column adjacent to Columns #2 and #5 along the far abutment: install timber column of similar size as existing timber column. Provide bracing to stabilize column # 1 along center pier. Establish bearing for cap at column #6 along far abutment and replace split and damaged pier bracing throughout. Stabilize shifted timber pile and cribbing along far right wing-wall. Installation of approximately 50 CY of rock protection along both abutments, pier and tributary embankment adjacent to near abutment. Installation of transition/approach guide rail and end treatments that meet current Penn DOT code.
