2023 Pavement Markings Project

As of May 11, 2023, project was awarded to DE Gemmill, Inc., awarded amount is $1,004,208.06. The City of Lancaster is seeking bids from PennDOT prequalified (prime or sub) contactors for work pertaining to the implementation/modification of bike lanes and traffic calming/safety measures in the public right-of-way along Lemon Street, Buchanan Avenue, Race Avenue and Walnut Street, including, but not limited to; pavement markings, delineators, and curb/sidewalk improvements. Pavement markings and other proposed improvements on Lemon, Buchanan and Race are expected to be coordinated with City paving scheduled for Summer 2023. Clarification Deadline: 3/13/2023 4:00 PM This project is primarily comprised of the installation of pavement markings, delineators, curb/sidewalk improvements and associated items pertaining to the installation/modification of bike lanes along Buchanan Avenue from President Avenue to College Avenue, Lemon Street from College Avenue to Shippen Street, North Shippen Street from Lemon Street to East Walnut Street, West Walnut Street from College Avenue to Race Avenue, and Race Avenue from West Walnut Street to West Chestnut Street in coordination with City paving schedule.
