| Description | To provide emergency snow removal services in the event of significant snowfall that overwhelms the Town's ability to mitigate it in a timely fashion. This would primarily entail the use of heavy equipment, Front end loaders equipped with buckets or multi directional plows, Motor graders, and/or Backhoe’s as the circumstances warrant. These resources would muster in anticipation of the storm event and crews would coordinate with the Snow Manager operating in the Public Works Service Center. Crews would be provided a route and a mapping device to show the route assigned. Snow is to be moved to comply with Town specified levels of service. |
