WDMCS - Valley Southwoods CTE Addition

The general nature of the work is as follows: the West Des Moines Community Schools is planning an addition and renovation to Valley Southwoods Freshman High School to provide curriculum programs related to the career and technical education. The work includes site modifications to improve site features, construction of a Career and Technical Education Wing, a culinary arts classroom, and renovations to the main entrance, and the existing media center. The addition shall also house an ICC-500 rated storm shelter for all occupants of the building. The project also consists of replacement of the central plant and replacement of the electrical service.
